RIP Sweet Girl

We had to put our sweet 17 year old kitty to sleep the other night. She had been dealing with kidney failure for a while but things got really bad this past weekend and it was time to say goodbye. It's been a really sad week. She is this blog's namesake and she will truly be missed <3

Ouch.

Poor kid crashed her bike and has to spend the summer in a giant cast. Luckily she has a furry buddy to help soothe the pain.

This photo inspires me. The pink tootsies, the polka dot jeans, the cuteness! She never dresses this girly so when she walked out with this on I had to take a pic.

March Postcards

I was playing around with spraying liquid watercolors over masks to make background paper and decided to use the leftovers as this month's postcards. I used a black Copic marker for the brush lettering. I Measured wrong so these ended up being 3x6 instead of 4x6. Whoops.

Hello Handsome!

Sketch will be 9 months in a few days. I took this photo the other night with my phone so the exposure isn't the best but he is just so handsome I had to share. We have been taking him to a few training classes and last month he took the CGC test... and PASSED! Sketch is now the AKC's newest Canine Good Citizen! I'm so proud of him! Not a bad achievement for an 8 month old puppy!

Sketching A Few Favorite Art Tools
