The other day someone in the Visual Chronicals yahoo group asked how to paint pages in a sketchbook without making them curl up. Linda Woods gave some great ideas, one of them being not painting all the way to the edges. I can't believe how simple that is and that it has never occurred to me, so I had to make a page about it.

Gina, what a great tip, re painting on paper without it curling. I've been painting for more years than I want to work out "~" and it has been endlessly frustrating to paint on paper which isn't stretched onto a board, or coated on both sides with gel medium, gesso, or similar. Thanks for passing the info on.
Have fun with those ATC's - they're a great way to boost creativity.
