I'm working on a swap for the Calligraphy Exchange yahoo group. The theme this time is flowers and as I was trying to come up with an idea I started doodling in my sketchbook. I was reminded of how much I love the simple look of ink and watercolors. So simple, so pretty.

gorgeous!!! have you tried to do watercolor washes with ink yet? i've only done it once or twice, but that dr.martins makes some really brilliant colors...
